B Truck Description
1 Application
The forklift truck is a threewheel, tiller operated electric pallet truck with a fixed
operator platform.
It is designed for lifting and transporting goods on level surfaces. Open bottom pallets
or pallets with transverse boards (provided that the boards are outside the range of
the load wheels) can be lifted.
The rated capacity of the truck is shown on the data plate or capacity plate Qmax.

3 Exposing the battery
CAUTION!
Trapping hazard
Make sure there is nothing between the battery cover and the truck when you fit the
battery cover.
WARNING!
An unsecured truck can cause accidents
Parking the truck on an incline or with a raised load handler is dangerous and is
strictly prohibited.
Always park the truck on a level surface. In special cases the truck may need to be
secured with wedges.
Always fully lower the mast and forks.
Select a place to park where no other people are at risk of injury from lowering
forks.
Requirements

2.1 Battery discharge indicator
When the truck has been released via the key
switch, code lock or ISM, the battery charge status 50
is displayed. The LED (50) colours represent the
following conditions:
LED colour Residual capacity
Green 40 - 100 %
Orange 30 - 40 %
Flashing
20 - 30 %
green/orange 1Hz
Red 0 - 20 %
Z If the LED is red, load units can no longer be lifted. Lifting is only enabled again
when the battery connected is at least 70% charged.
If the LED flashes red and the truck is not ready for operation, inform the
manufacturer's service department. Red flashing is a truck controller code. The
flashing sequence indicates the type of fault.

4.2.4 Brakes
The brake pattern of the truck depends largely on the travel route conditions. The
driver must take this into account when travelling.
The truck can brake in three different ways:
CAUTION!
Use the service brake in emergencies
Braking with the service brake
Procedure
(2) to one of the brake zones (B).
The motor brake is applied mechanically to the drive motor.
Z When the truck is parked, the service brake acts as a parking brake.
Z Braking with the service brake for trucks with rigid tiller (o) and cushioned operator
platform (o):
Procedure
in the tiller head.
The motor brake is applied mechanically to the drive motor.
Regenerative braking
Procedure
travel switch (1) reverts to neutral.
The truck brakes to a halt regeneratively via the coasting brake. The service brake
then applies.
Inversion braking
Procedure
ch (1) to the opposite direction.
The truck brakes regeneratively until it starts to move in the opposite direction.
Z The brake force can be set by the rvice department.
