Installation
Place one O-ring (9) onto the lid (10) and screw it on
with five hexagon head bolts (11).
Torque = 33 Nm

Maintenance
Preparing for oil change
Beachten!
Before an oil change, release the rubber belts.
2 Lead the oil drain hose (3) into a suitable container.
Open the breather valve (2) by about 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
The tensioning cylinders release automatically and
thus relieve the belts.

If necessary, move the machine against wheel chocks

(brake chocks) or the like to further push back the ten-
sioning cylinders. Put wheel chocks down in front of
the tracks and move the machine against it until the
tensioning cylinders are pushed back completely.
Another option is attaching tensioning belts between
the half-track frame and the front idler wheels and
using it to push back the tensioning cylinders.
1. For the oil change of the gearbox of the drive
wheels, the outer drive wheel of the track roller
unit must be removed.
2. To check the oil level, the hole in the rim must be
positioned correctly. The hole must be on the
18 imagined horizontal hub centre. Then unscrew the
oil level check plug (K). If necessary, fill up oil
through the oil filler plug (E) until if flows out of the
tapped hole for the oil level check plug.
3. To change the oil of the hubs of the front idler
wheels, unscrew the screws (G) and remove the
lid. Let oil drain into a suitable container. Screw
the lid back on with new seal. Unscrew the oil
level check plug (F) and fill up oil until it flows out
of the tapped hole. Screw on the oil level check
plug (F).
4. Check the oil level in the same operational
sequence for screw (F).
