STRAW CHOPPER
(LEXION 560 - 510)
Danger!
Stop the engine and switch off the battery
isolating switch. Secure the machine to
prevent it from rolling away (Parking brake,
wheel chock).
Note that the chopper knives run on after
the machine drives have been disen-
gaged!
Attention – Injury Hazard!
– Wear gloves during all work on the
chopper knives!
– Arrest the cutting cylinder to prevent it
from rotating.
Fitting the Rubber Blanket to the Straw Chop-
per

For use with corn a rubber blanket has to be fitted over
the straw chopper.This is required to prevent damage
to the straw walker housing and tailgate.

Open the tailgate. – see operating instructions
Fit the pipe (3) using hex bolts (4) to position (A) and
hex bolts (5) to position (B).

Hang the rubber blanket (1) over the pipe (3) and
attach with two hex bolts (6).

Important!

1 The washers on the right hand side of the pipe
must be adjacent to the expansion pins.
The U brackets should not be clamped to the
pipe.

Les présentes instructions s'appliquent pour la mois-
sonneuse-batteuse CLAAS LEXION 560 – 510.
Les présentes instructions décrivent l'adaptation de la
machine du hache-paille Ă l'action avec le maĂŻs.
Pour l'utilisation de la machine, les instructions de ser-
vice de la moissonneuse-batteuse correspondantes
sont en vigueur.
Les pièces contenues sont mentionnées à la page 4.1.
Les indications signalées par la mention « Conseils de
sécurité » dans les instructions de service actuelles
doivent être respectées.

Pour une utilisation avec les céréales le blanchet doit
être démonté.
8 Ouvrir trappe arrière. – voir instructions de service
Dévisser le câble (S) avec la vis à tête hexagonale (8).
Dévisser les vis à tête hexagonale (7) des deux côtés
7 et pivoter la cage (2) vers l'avant.

Spegnere il motore e disinserire il seziona-
tore della batteria.
Precauzione – Pericolo di lesioni – Indossare
Q guanti.
Sollevare il telo in gomma (G).
10 Per registrare la lama trasversale, allentare le viti di
fissaggio (U) nei fori lunghi.
Cereali:
Posizionare la lama trasversale (Q) in modo che la
distanza (Y) risulti pari a 5 mm con le lame completa-
mente estratte.
Mais:
Ritirare del tutto la lama trasversale (Q).
A registrazione avvenuta, stringere tutte le viti di
fissaggio (U).

3 Indicaciones ESPECIALMENTE IMPORTANTE
Con el objeto de evitar el peligro de accidentes,
generales es imprescindible que cualquier persona que
utilice, atienda o controle la máquina, lea y
observe con la debida atenciĂłn las indicaciones
contenidas en estas instrucciones. SĂrvase leer
sobre todo el apartado “medidas de seguridad”
contenido en su manual de instrucciones y
tenga en cuenta las normas de prevenciĂłn de
accidentes de su paĂs.
Antes de comenzar con el trabajo, asegĂşrese de
que tiene a mano todas las herramientas y el
material auxiliar necesario. Llevar a cabo una
comparación entre el tipo de máquina / tipo de
implemento frontal, el listado en el capĂtulo
“conjunto del suministro” y el juego de piezas
realmente suministrado.
Véase la especificación técnica de las piezas, p.
ej. en el caso de los tornillos, en el listado “con-
junto del suministro”. En esta lista cada uno de
los componentes lleva asignado un nĂşmero de
posiciĂłn (NĂşm. pos.). Las piezas, como por
ejemplo tuercas o arandelas de contacto, no
reciben nĂşmero de posiciĂłn. Estas piezas tienen
el nĂşmero de posiciĂłn del tornillo con el que se
montan. Otras indicaciones referentes a las pie-
zas son: nĂşm. de pieza de repuesto, designa-
ciĂłn, dimensiones, cĂłdigo DIN y cantidad.
Para mayor claridad, en la descripciĂłn del mon-
taje se hace referencia a las piezas existentes
mediante letras y a las piezas nuevas mediante
nĂşmeros (nĂşmeros de posiciĂłn).
Los textos y las figuras son válidos para dife-
rentes modelos. Las diferencias entre cada uno
de los modelos se señalan mediante indicacio-
nes en el texto.
Los datos técnicos, las dimensiones y los pesos
se entienden sin compromiso alguno. La infor-
maciĂłn de estas instrucciones puede estar
